Rev. Jan Lougheed, Minister

Jan comes to Woodroffe with a wealth of experience as a teacher, town councillor, minister at Trinity-St. Andrew's United Church in Renfrew and most recently as the minister at Bristol, Quebec.

• I believe in affirming and encouraging the Church Family to stretch their understanding of God and of their faith.
• I believe it is important through resources and awareness in leadership to empower others to develop their own gifts and talents and to use them for the building of their own community within the wider church community.
• I believe in working together in a family of faith that is willing to listen and encourage one another in outreach and action.
• I believe I bring to ministry a friendly outgoing approach to people, a love for the Bible and Christian development of all ages, a passion for preaching and pastoral care, a high degree of enthusiasm and energy, a keen sense of humour, ideas for worship and growth in the congregation and a desire to see the church reach out into the community.
